Right for the English country side. This sweet treat will be loved by all. Ingredients:
1 cup real butter |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
dipping chocolate, melted |
ground nuts |
Directions:
1. Combined butter, sugar and water in a heavy sauce pan.
2. Cook stirring constantly to the hard crack stage or 300 degrees.
3. Immedieately pur into a buttered 9x13 cake pan, spreading quickly.
4. Cool When cooled break into pieces and dip into the dipping chocolate.
5. Place on waxed paper to set up.
6. Sprinkle with ground nuts.
7. When set place in an air tight container.
