Ingredients:
1 (750 ml) bottle red wine |
3 -5 tablespoons sugar or 3 -5 tablespoons honey |
2 -4 cinnamon sticks |
4 -6 cloves |
3 -4 cardamom pods |
orange peel, from 1 orange |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a pot and slowly bring to a simmer over a low flame. Do not boil. 2. Cover and let steep on a very low flame for about 15 minutes. 3. Strain, ladle into mugs and serve. |
