I found this on the internet somewhere listed as a healthy snack. It sounded strange but I like to try new things and it did look healthy. I LOVED it! I wish I'd heard of it sooner! I don't think it matters what kind of apples you use. You can use part skim cheese and light english muffins if you're watching calories. Ingredients:
2 whole wheat english muffins |
1 sliced apple |
4 slices cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. toast english muffins. 2. slice apples and place apple on english muffin 3. add sliced cheese to the top. 4. bake just until cheese melts. |
