a friend gave me this recipe many years ago and it is a great soup for casual get togethers served with warm tortillas or corn chips Ingredients:
1-1/2pounds ground round |
2 chopped onions |
2 cans cheddar soup |
1 can kidney beans |
1 can mexican pinto beans |
1can drained corn |
1 can sliced black olives |
1 large can tomato sauce |
1 large can spanish tomato sauce |
1large can enchilada sauce |
2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
crushed red pepper to taste |
chopped chives |
chopped green onion |
sour cream |
Directions:
1. In large pot, brown ground round and onions 2. Add the rest of ingredients except for chives, green onion and sour cream(these are optional garnishes). Simmer until bubbly |
