1 teaspoon canola oil |
1/2 cup diced red onion |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1/2 cup organic vegetable broth (such as swanson certified organic) |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes, undrained |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in broth and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. |
