This is a quick and easy enchilada sauce recipe I got from my mother. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons oil |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/4 cup red chili powder |
2 cups beef broth |
salt |
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans tomato puree |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large saucepan. 2. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. |
