This is also sometimes called mexican lasagna or burrito pie. My kids say it is like a taco and a quesadilla put together. Ingredients:
1 lb extra lean ground beef |
14 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 ounces sliced black olives, drained |
4 large flour tortillas |
2 cups mexican blend cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown beef. Combine tomatoes, seasonings,. 2. onion, olives and meat. Grease pie dish and layer tortilla, meat sauce and. 3. cheese (3 to 6 times) in pie dish . End with cheese. 4. on top. Cook 425, 30 minutes, uncovered. Watch the top to ensure it does not get too brown, if so lightly tent with foil. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before cutting. |
