Empire's Steak and Potato Latkes |

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound(s) idaho potatoes |
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper |
1/2 cup(s) chopped shallots |
empires steak chopped into bits |
3 tablespoon(s) tablespoons flour |
vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Using a food processor shred the potatoes. 2. Drain the shredded potatoes. 3. Chop the cooked steak into bits. 4. In a bowl, mix the steak, eggs, shallots, flour, salt and pepper. 5. Add the potatoes to the above mixture and combine. 6. In a large skillet, add vegetable oil and heat until oil appears hot. 7. Place tablespoonfuls of the latke mixture and allow them to cook for approximately 3 minutes on each side. 8. Empires Steak and Potato Latkes are best served warm with a side of sour cream. |
