Homemade spelt, oat and sesame bread. Ingredients:
4 oz sesame seeds (or poppy/sunflower/mixed seeds), 4 oz porridge oats, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon sal |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients together, dissolve 1tblsp dried yeast in 1/2 pint of hand warm water with 1 tblsp sugar, add this and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Knead for about 10 mins. Add more flour or water if dough is too wet or dry. Put into an oiled and floured bread tin. Brust the top with some milk or beaten egga and sprinkle with with any type of seeds. Bake for 30-45 mins depending on oven at 200 degrees centegrade. This feeds a family of 5 for a day's lunch and snacks, double up recepie to make some adcitional yummy bread rolls for lunchboxes:) |
