Emerils Baked Jalapeno Poppers |

BAKED JALAPENO POPPERS Tried and true and one of my favorites. I serve these several times a year at card parties. Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese softened |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese |
6 bacon slices cooked and crumbled |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 pound jalapenos halved lengthwise and seeds removed |
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs |
Directions:
1. Combine cheeses, bacon and seasonings then mix well. 2. Fill each pepper half with 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture then roll in breadcrumbs. 3. Place on greased baking sheet then bake uncovered at 300 for 30 minutes. |
