Elsie's No Cook Strawberry Jam |

Delicious jam that you keep in the freezer. Ingredients:
3 cups strawberries, sliced |
5 cups sugar |
1 (2 ounce) package sure-jell |
1 cup water |
Directions:
1. Combine berries and sugar. Let stand 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Make pectin solution by stirring pectin in 1 c cold water and bringing it to a rapid boil for 1 minute. 3. Remove from heat and add pectin mixture to the berries. Stir for 2 minutes. 4. Put in jars or freezable containers and leave at room temperature for 24-48 hours - then freeze. Keep in freezer. |
