Elsie's Foolproof Pie Crust |

This pie crust can be made and frozen for later use. Ingredients:
4 1/4 cups flour |
1 3/4 cups shortening |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 egg |
1/2 cup water (7 tbs) |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, shortening, sugar and salt with a fork. 2. In a seperate bowl, combine vinegar, egg and water. 3. Combine all ingredients until moist. 4. Chill at least 15 minutes. 5. Roll out into 2 circles if using immediately and bake according to pie's directions. |
