This is my Grandmothers recipe. I love making them for dessert. Ingredients:
1/2 cup lukewarm water |
1/2 cup lukewarm milk |
2 tsp yeast |
2 tbsp sugar |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 1/4 cups flour |
Directions:
1. Mix the first 5 ingredient and then gradually add the flour. 2. Roll into a ball and put into a well greased bowl and let rise in the oven with the light on for 30 minutes. 3. Put some oil in a deep frying pan and get it good and hot. 4. Drop in batter and fry. 5. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. |
