Years and years ago I clipped this from the Chicago Sun-Times. It is lovely served in stemware. I like to serve it as an appetizer before a special dinner. Ingredients:
1/2 cup rose wine |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 dash clove |
1 dash nutmeg |
1 dash salt |
frozen peaches |
frozen strawberries |
Directions:
1. Combine wine, sugar, spices, salt. 2. Blend over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. 3. Stir in orange and lemon juice. 4. Cool. 5. Combine fruits with wine and juice mixture and chill. 6. Serves six. 7. Cook time is chill time. |
