Tried and true. Very creamy and very tasty. This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dimmer Estate in Rockwall, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
1 cup vegetable oil |
1/2 cup vinegar |
2/3 cup ketchup |
juice of one lemon |
2/3 cup honey |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 medium white onion grated |
1 clove garlic |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except garlic in place in a jar. 2. Place garlic clove on a toothpick and drop into jar. 3. Shake and refrigerate overnight before serving. |
