A more elegent way to serve this plain and simple veggie.... Ingredients:
1 pound of carrots, sliced thin |
1/4 cup of raisins |
1/4 cup butter |
1/8 cup honey |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 cup sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Cook carrots, covered in 1/2 inch boiling water for 8 minutes 3. Drain 4. Pour carrots into 1 quart baking dish and add raisins, butter, honey, 5. lemon juice and ginger 6. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally 7. Sprinkle with almonds and serve |
