Eleanor's Hot Chicken Salad

My parents gave a Christmas party for about 30 people with a buffet dinner (followed by charades) every year for many years. My mother often served this dish (multiplied) because it was relatively easy and people liked it so much.
Ingredients:
2 cups cut up cooked chicken
2 cups chopped celery
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons grated onions
1 cup chopped ripe olives
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup sliced water chestnuts
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup crushed corn flakes or 1 cup potato chip
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Mix the chicken through the mayonnaise and put into a shallow baking pan (or pans).
2. Top with the corn flakes and cheddar cheese.
3. Bake at 450°F for 10-15 minutes.
