Lovely Washington or Russett baking potatoes, all dressed up with carrot slivers, butter, and cheeseā¦ grilled to perfection, and a delicious accompaniment to any meal! Ingredients:
6 medium sized potatoes, washed, skin left on |
carrot slivers (to preference the amount) |
kraft grilled cheese slices (1 1/2 is all that is needed) |
salt & pepper to taste |
marjoram |
butter |
Directions:
1. Make slits in the potatoes, width-wise, but do not sever the slices 2. Insert carrot slivers into each slit 3. Place a generous blob of butter on each potato 4. Cover with a strip os the cheese, cut into 3/4 inch slices 5. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and marjoram 6. Bake 350*F until potatoes are soft, OR grill on medium-high flame for 45 to 50 minutes, covered loosely with foil 7. Serve immediately. |
