Spanish onions,seasoned with herbs and spices, and barbecued... a delightful side dish! Ingredients:
6 large spanish onions |
2 tbsp each |
basil |
thyme |
oregano |
lemon pepper (unsalted) |
minced garlic |
tinfoil |
Directions:
1. cut off both ends of the onions, and remove the outer peel 2. combine in a bowl: 3. basil, thyme, oregano, lemon pepper and garlic 4. Combine thoroughly 5. Cut crosswise slits into the onions, and add a generous amount of the mixture of herbs and spices 6. Envelope with heavy-duty tinfoil, and set onto the barbecue grill, lid closed. Cook at medium-high heat for 25 minutes, or until done to your preference. |
