This mustard-based dip is good on all veggies but especially cauliflower. It was a favorite of my MIL's - a great Midwestern Cook - so I'm saving it here for my family and yours. (It is best if you make it a day ahead and refrigerate it so the ingredients have time to marry.) Ingredients:
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard |
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. 24 hours before serving -. 2. Combine the mustard, oil, garlic and sugar; stirring until sugar is dissolved. 3. Stir in the mayonnaise. 4. Refrigerate 4 - 24 hours. 5. Serve with fresh, raw vegetables (and don't forget the cauliflower). |
