These muffins almost melt in your mouth, are heart-healthy, and provide an excellent, tasty source of fiber in your diet. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups bran |
1 cup flour |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/2 baking powder |
2 tbsp melted shortening |
1/4 cup molasses or brown sugar |
1 cup sour milk |
1/2 cup seeded raisins |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together until relatively smooth- 2. for variety, add walnuts or almonds..even cranberries and lemon zest are also tasty add-ins! 3. Bake until golden brown 325* F 4. ENJOY! |
