The way my Mommy makes it. If you pronounce Italian as I-talian rather than It-alian , this might be the recipe for you. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 onion, chopped |
1/2 cup celery, chopped |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
4 ounces canned mushrooms |
1 teaspoon dried garlic |
1 cup ketchup |
16 ounces tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon italian seasoning |
Directions:
1. Cook beef, onion, celery and pepper until meat is brown. 2. Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer about 30 minutes. 3. Serve over hot spaghetti. |
