I love this, as it is one of those dips that is great anytime there is a crowd. Easy and satisfying perfect in a container to transport to a Tailgate Party! :) Ingredients:
6 eggs, hard-boiled |
1/4 cup real mayonnaise (can use miracle whip) |
1/2 tsp. mustard (spicy or coarse) |
1/2 tsp. seasoning of your choice (i use herbs de provence or a touch of paprika for color) |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened |
4-5 green onions, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Mash eggs well. 2. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and spices. 3. Mix well. 4. Use a bowl or jello mold the size of a whipped topping container 5. Line the bowl/mold with plastic wrap (for easy removal). 6. **Layer as follows: 7. 1/2 of egg mixture 8. Softened cream cheese 9. Onions 10. 1/2 egg mixture 11. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Unmold to plate... Serve with crackers and/or cocktail bread. Yummy! |
