This is my favorite holiday bread to make and I am not that much of an eggnog lover! Make great gifts! You can freeze the eggnog and make year long, too! Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup dairy eggnog |
1/2 cup margarine, melted |
2 teaspoons rum extract |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 1/4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. beat eggs in large mixing bowl. 2. Add next 5 ingredients blending well. 3. Add remaining ingredients and stir until just moist. 4. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350* for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, removed from pan. |
