A friend gave me the recipe for this heavenly desert. Served with shortbread cookies it was awesome. Ingredients:
2 cups cold eggnog |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese (softened) |
2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding |
2 -3 tablespoons vanilla extract |
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
whipped topping (optional) |
Directions:
1. start with 1 cup of eggnog. 2. beat in all of the cream cheese. 3. add top 2 ingredients (mixed) with rest of ingredients in order given except for whipped topping. 4. add last cup of eggnog beating on low for 2 minute. 5. spoon into 8 separate servings into stemmed glassware. 6. cover with plastic wrap. 7. chill overnight or at least 8 hours. 8. top with whipped topping & shortbread cookies if desired. |
