This easy, moist pound cake is great during the holidays. I always include it on my Christmas buffets. Ingredients:
1 package yellow cake mix |
1 package vanilla instant pudding mix |
3/4 cup eggnog |
3/4 cup oil |
4 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. In large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, egg nog and oil; beat on low speed until moistened. 3. Add eggs and nutmeg; beat on medium-high speed 4 minutes. 4. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch fluted or tube pan. 5. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. 6. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. 7. Cool completely. 8. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. |
