Fench toast with a little holiday twist. Ingredients:
1 loaf french bread |
1 cup milk |
1 1/2 cups eggnog |
4 beaten eggs |
1 dash cinnamon |
1 dash nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Slice the bread about 3/4 of an inch thick. 2. Mix eggs, milk, egg nog, and spices in a large shallow dish. 3. Dip each slice of bread and let soak slightly. 4. Fry in melted butter until lightly browned. 5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with fruit or syrup. |
