Eggless, Tasty And Easy Honey Bread |

Ingredients:
1 cup sour cream (i use low-fat plain yogurt as a substitute) |
1 teaspoon grated ginger |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 cup honey |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 teaspoons water |
Directions:
1. Mix cream (or yogurt if substituting), sugar and honey together in a bowl. 2. Sift in flour and ginger. 3. Dissolve baking soda in warm water. 4. Add baking soda-water mixture to the flour-honey mixture. 5. Mix well. 6. Grease a loaf tin. 7. Pour mixture into the greased loaf tin. 8. Bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour. 9. Remove from oven. 10. Allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving. |
