Ingredients:
1 lg box(es) instant vanilla pudding |
scant pinch(s) nutmeg- a few grates is all |
2 cup(s) egg nog (light is fine) |
1 1/2 cup(s) milk |
2 cup(s) whipping cream whipped |
1 whole(s) pre-made or homemade graham cracker or shortbread crust |
Directions:
1. Prepare vanilla according to pie directions using the Egg Nog and milk combination listed. Add the grated nutmeg and whisk quickly. It will begin to thicken quickly. Pour half of the pudding mixture into the prepared pie crust. Mix in 2 cups of (whipped) whipped cream or (cool whip is fine) in remaining pudding mixture,,,, spread this remaining mixture on top of pie shell... You might have too much which is fine,,, just put into a little bowl for snacking later! Put pie in refrigerator and chill till firm about 1 hour! Serve with whipped cream on top and a sprinkle of sugared nutmeg if desired! |
