Holiday favorite, with a kick of rum flavor. Ingredients:
use vanilla crust - see crust page |
2 pounds philly cream cheese, softened |
1 cup sugar |
4 tbsp flour |
2 large eggs |
1 cup egg nog, custard style |
1 ounce rum extract, or 1/4 cup dark rum |
1/4 tea nutmeg, ground |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450^. 2. Blend cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth. 3. Add eggs one at a time. 4. Add egg nog, rum and nutmeg, mixing thoroughly. 5. Pour into prepared pan. 6. Bake at 450^ for 15 minutes. 7. Reduce to 250 and continue baking for 50 minutes. 8. Let cool and refrigerate before serving. |
