Toffee and chocolate chips make these crisp,lower calorie cookies taste anything but light. Also great for anyone with egg allergies.
Ingredients:
1/2c butter,softened
1/2c sugar
1/2c packed brown sugar
1/4c water
1/4c canola oil
1tsp vanilla extract
21/2c all-purpose flour
2tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda
1/2tsp salt
1/2c miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2c milk chocolate english toffee bits
Directions:
1. In a large bowl,cream butter and sugars. Beat in the water,oil and vanilla. Combine the flour,baking powder,baking soda,and salt;gradually add to creamed mixtureand mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and toffee bits.
2. Drop by rounded tablespoon-fuls 2 apart onto ungreased baking sheets;flatten with the bottom of a small glass.
3. Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins or till edges begin to brown. Remove to wire racks
