Toffee and chocolate chips make these crisp,lower calorie cookies taste anything but light. Also great for anyone with egg allergies. Ingredients:
1/2c butter,softened |
1/2c sugar |
1/2c packed brown sugar |
1/4c water |
1/4c canola oil |
1tsp vanilla extract |
21/2c all-purpose flour |
2tsp baking powder |
1tsp baking soda |
1/2tsp salt |
1/2c miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2c milk chocolate english toffee bits |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl,cream butter and sugars. Beat in the water,oil and vanilla. Combine the flour,baking powder,baking soda,and salt;gradually add to creamed mixtureand mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and toffee bits. 2. Drop by rounded tablespoon-fuls 2 apart onto ungreased baking sheets;flatten with the bottom of a small glass. 3. Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins or till edges begin to brown. Remove to wire racks |
