Egg Drop & Tomato With Green Chilies Soup |

This puts a little ZING in your egg drop soup. My husband doesn't like egg drop soup (he likes Hot & Sour), but he likes it this way. Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth |
1 (10 -14 1/2 ounce) can chopped tomatoes and green chilies, undrained |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
1 egg |
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil |
salt and pepper |
1 green onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. Bring broth and tomatoes to boil in a large saucepan. 2. Reduce heat to VERY low. 3. Add Soy Sauce. 4. Mix egg and sesame oil well. 5. Using a wire whip, stir egg mixture gradually into hot mixture. 6. Remove from heat and serve. 7. Season to your taste. 8. Top with chopped green onions after putting in soup bowl. |
