spicy egg dish from India Ingredients:
3 eggs |
1 onion, finely chopped |
1 tomato, finely chopped |
1/4 cup cilantro,coriander finely chopped |
1 jalapeno pepper,(indian,thahai chilli chopped |
1/2 tsp chili powder |
1/2 tsp turmeric |
1/2 tsp garam masala |
2 tsp oil |
1 salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a wok and add chili and onions 2. Stir occasionally till onions become brown on the edges 3. Add tomato and let it cook for a minute of two 4. Add chili, turmeric, salt and garam masala and mix thorougly 5. Break the eggs on the hot mixture and start scrambling with a paddle or spoon 6. Add coriander 7. Scramble till eggs are completely cooked 8. Serve Bhurji with Bread OR Pav Or Roti OR Turkish Bread |
