Another handed down recipe...just add to chicken soup or chicken lemon egg-drop soup. Ingredients:
1 doz eggs |
salt pepper to taste |
flour |
dash cumin |
finely chopped basil |
Directions:
1. hard cook eggs 2. peel and remove yolks 3. place yolks, cumin,salt ,pepper and mix well 4. add white of egg 5. cumin and basil 6. add flour until you get consistency to where you can make small balls about the size of a nickle 7. bring broth to rolling boil 8. roll balls gently in more flour,salt and pepper 9. drop one at a time into boiling soup... 10. will pop to the top in about a minute 11. very colorful and tasty |
