Egg Bake Ingredients:
8 slices white bread, cubed and both sides buttered |
1 pound italian sausage |
1 bag shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese |
9 eggs |
3 cups milk |
Directions:
1. Place bread cubes in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish; set aside. 2. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. 3. Spoon sausage over bread; sprinkle with cheeses. 4. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and seasonings; pour over casserole. 5. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 6. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. 7. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50-55 minutes or until golden brown. 8. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting. |
