I usually serve this in crust cups, on toast points or on English muffins. Ingredients:
6 hard boiled eggs (can feed more, just add one egg per person) |
1/4 lb butter |
3 tbs flour |
1 cup sharp cheese, grated |
1/8 tsp curry |
worcestershire sauce |
mustard |
1 lb cooked shrimp |
1 cup mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Hardboil eggs, cut in half and stuff 2. Put stuffed eggs in a buttered baking dish 3. Make white sauce by combining: nearly a 1/4 lb butter, 3 tbs flour, 1 cup grated cheese and curry. 4. Add Worcestershire sauce and mustard to taste 5. Top eggs with shrimp and mushrooms 6. Pour white sauce with cheese and curry over all 7. Bake in moderate oven (325-350 degrees) for about 1/2 hour 8.
