Egg And Green Bean Casserole |

These are so good. I make them often and never get tired of them. Hope you enjoy as much as I do. Ingredients:
1 quart green beans |
1/4 cup butter |
1/4 cup chopped white onions |
1/4 cup flour |
2 cups milk |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
1/4 teaspoon savory |
1 tablespoon chopped parsley |
6 hard boiled eggs sliced |
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs |
1/2 cup grated swiss cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Melt butter in pan then sauté onion until tender. 3. Remove from heat and blend in flour, milk, salt, pepper, thyme, savory and parsley. 4. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. 5. Simmer 2 minutes. 6. Layer beans, eggs and sauce in small casserole dish. 7. Combine crumbs and cheese and sprinkle on top. 8. Bake for 20 minutes. |
