An ecologically sound alternative to SoftScrub. I found this recipe in a booklet of eco-friendly housekeeping and gardening put out by my municipality.

Ingredients:

60 ml baking soda

30 ml borax

30 ml laundry detergent

liquid bath soap

Directions:

1. Mix the powders with enough liquid soap to make a thick, creamy paste.
2. Use as you would any cream cleanser (SoftScrub).
