a dessert that will leave your guests talking-looks deklightful in the pan -and so yummy with wither vanilla or chocolate pudding with a puff pastry crust.
Ingredients:
crust: 1 c. boiling water
1 stick margarine
1c. flour
4 eggs
filling: 2 packages of vanilla pudding---regular or instant
1-8 oz. of cream chees-softened----if you are cutting calories-- i have left this out of the recipe and it turned out as good
topping: 8oz. cool whip---i use low -fat
walnuts
chocolate syrup
Directions:
1. Crust:
2. Boil warter and margarine. Mix together and add flour. Remove from heat Beat in 4 eggs-one at a time.
3. Pour into cake pan-9X13
4. Bake 400 degrees for 30 min.-It will get wavy in the oven while baking. Cool crust.
5. Filling-Prepare pudding. Mix according to package directions.
6. Add cream cheese. Spread filling over crust that has been cooled.
7. Chill. Before serving-cover will Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts. Drizzle chocolate syrup on the top.
