Pillsbury discontinued their frozen waffles, and none of the others on the market have that nice vanilla flavor. So, I came up with my own, very easy version! The added sugar and vanilla make these yummy. They smell like waffle cones when they cook! Ingredients:
2 cups pioneer buttermilk baking mix |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 large eggs |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs and vanilla with milk in small bowl. 2. Mix sugar with baking mix in large mixing bowl. 3. Add milk/egg to dry ingredients. Stir till mixed well. 4. Ladle about 1/3 cups of batter into each well of the pre heated waffle iron. Enough to cover the grids. Close waffle iron and cook for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown. |
