Ingredients:
2 teaspoons plus 1/4 tsp. yeast (or one yeast packet) |
2 3/4 cups white bread flour |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup warm water |
Directions:
1. Put ingredients into pan according to manufactures instructions. 2. Select white bread 3. Press start 4. This makes a 1-1/2 lb. loaf 5. NOTE: Depending on the humidity, you may need to increase flour, no more than 3 cups total. I use the dough cycle, then I let it raise one more time in the machine. Then I take it out, punch it down flat, and make it into a loaf. I then put it in a slightly greased bread pan, cover it in saran wrap and let it raise until it is double in bulk. I bake it at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. (When it sounds hollow on the bottom it is done). |
