Easy Vanilla Cookies

This came from EPC Anniversary Cookbook. I haven't tried this, just posting for safe keeping.

Ingredients:

18 ounces yellow cake mix

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 egg

1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients; mix well.
2. Drop on cookie sheets; bake at 350 for 10 minutes, or until light brown. (Careful, cookies burn easily).
