Easy Vanilla Caramel Sauce |

This sauce cooks quickly, and can be used for ice cream, or for a dip for fruits and cookies. Ingredients:
3/4 cup water |
2 1/4 teaspoons butter |
1 tablespoon brown sugar, plus |
1/4 teaspoon brown sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 1/4 teaspoons cornstarch |
1 tablespoon water, plus |
1/2 teaspoon water |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, combine 3/4 cup water, butter, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, and remove from heat. 2. In a small cup, mix together cornstarch and remaining water. Stir mixture into sauce. Cook over medium heat and heat through for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve hot. |
