Easy Tuna And Cannellini Bean Salad |

Easy, protein-packed lunch that I make often. You can add salt when you add the pepper - I don't bother, as the tuna has enough flavor for me. Ingredients:
1 15.5-oz can cannellini beans, drained |
2 3-oz cans good quality tuna packed in olive oil, undrained |
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or cider vinegar |
1/3 cup diced onion |
1 1/2 tsp dried sage leaves |
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil |
black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine beans and undrained tuna.. 2. Add vinegar, onion, sage and oil. 3. Gently mix to combine. 4. Season with pepper. 5. Chill overnight to let flavors combine. 6. Serve chilled or at room temperature. |
