Easy Tostones Fried Plantains With Garlic |

Pour your self a cold glass of beer and put your feet up a small pice of haven ! Ingredients:
3 plantains |
2 teaspoons salt |
water |
canola oil for frying |
1 sm jar chrushed garlic |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Peal the plantains 2. Cut crosswise in slices about 1/2 inch wide 3. Slant the knife while cutting so slices will have an oval shape. 4. Place in salted water for 1 hour 5. Drain 6. Fry until plantain is tender 3min on each side 7. but not crusty 8. Remove from oil flatten by pressing eavenly , 9. dip in salted waterand fry again until crusty. 10. drain on absorbent paper 11. mix 2 tsp garlic with salt and spread small ammounts over hot tostones 12. Now crunch Awayyyyyyyy !!!! |
