These are great for a quick weeknight meal and the kids like them. The filling is also good in taco shells or tortillas. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
1/4 cup finely chopped onion |
1/2 cup salsa |
1 teaspoon flour |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
4 -6 sandwich buns |
1 cup finely chopped lettuce |
Directions:
1. In large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef and onion; drain. 2. Stir in remaining meat mixture ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a little water if mixture becomes too thick. 3. Serve mixture in buns with lettuce. |
