This is a simple pie to make and very yummy! Ingredients:
2/3 cup uncooked oatmeal |
2/3 cup light karo syrup |
2 eggs, beaten |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 cup butter, melted & cooled |
1 unbaked pie shell (8 or 9 inch) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Beat the eggs. 3. Gradually add in the syrup and oats. 4. Add sugar, vanilla, and the butter. 5. Combine well. 6. Pour into pie shell and bake for 1 hour, or until knife in center comes out clean. |
