This is a perfect meal for a workday. Put the crock-pot on before you leave and add the thickener and mushrooms when you get home. Serve over egg noodles or rice. Ingredients:
2 lbs stewing beef |
1 (38 1/2 g) envelope onion soup mix |
1 (10 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup |
3/4 cup cooking sherry |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons water |
2 (10 ounce) cans button mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Place first 4 ingredients in crock-pot and cook on low for 8 hours. 2. Mix flour and water together until blended. 3. Stir into crock-pot mixture. 4. Add mushrooms. 5. Cook for one more hour. |
