i needed to use up some of the things in my fridge so decided to make a healthy smoothie. it almost tased like ice cream! just shows how easy a healthy snack is! Ingredients:
1/3 cup plain fat-free yogurt (or vanilla you can experiment) |
4 frozen strawberries (or 4 fresh plus some ice ) |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional) |
1/4 cup splenda artificial sweetener (depending on how sweet you want it, you can add more or less splenda, about 5 packets) |
Directions:
1. put yogurt and frozen strawberries in a blender ( or a bowl or cup if you are using a hand blender ) 2. blend until strawberries are well blended and the mixture is smoothe. 3. add the splenda and vanilla and mix. |
