I remember making this in junior high in the mid 80's and this recipe been stuck with me ever since. I like to make mine without nuts as I'm not a big fan of nuts. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons melted butter |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup karo light syrup |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) |
1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract |
1 can (12 ounces) refrigerated biscuits |
Directions:
1. Mix butter, brown sugar, syrup, chopped nuts, cinnamon, sprinkle few chocolate around the pan and vanilla in 8- or 9-inch round cake pan. 2. Top with refrigerated biscuits. 3. Bake as directed on package until golden brown. Serve warm. |
